谈到高端医疗,人们一般想到高昂的收费、精致的装修;然而,高端医疗的精髓不在这里。和睦家医疗集团总裁李碧菁(Roberta

inChina?李碧菁:我们的平台的确不同于中国其他同行。因为从一开始,建立第一所医院的时候,我们就已经决定要把安全和循证医学作为我们一切行为的准则。我们按照国际联合委员会的标准制定所有政策和程序。Lipson:
We really do have a platform that separates us from the rest of the
industry inChina. Because right from the beginning when we created this
first hospital, we’ve decided we were going to make safety and
Evidence-Based Medicine the foundation of everything we do. We put
together all the policies and procedures according to Joint Commission
International

we spent a lot of time training our colleagues, doctors, nurses and even
front-line staff in the importance of compassion and service. And we try
to hire people who would like to make it the way they practice medicine
and who are here for those

when people say high-end healthcare,they don’t know what it means.
People may think fancy environment and expensive fees mean high-end
healthcare. But for us, high-end healthcarehas three important
components.美丽、舒适的环境当然要有,那都不用说,只是个前提。但首先,我们要的是持续、全面的医疗。它从预防开始。第二,我们所做的一切都要有实证基础。如果医院遵循这条规则,就没有过度医疗,没有夸张疗效。它必须以实证为基础。第三,设立创新的付费机制,能确保我们激励循证、安全、持续、全面的医疗。你把三个方面融合起来,就是高端医疗。Of
course beautiful and comfortable surroundings, that goes without saying.
It’s just a 前提。But first of all we want to have care that is
continuous and comprehensive. It starts from prevention. Secondly, we
want to do everything with evident basis. If that’s the rule in
hospital, it means there is no over treatment,no exaggeration,it has
to always be evident based. Thirdly, setting innovative pricing
structure will ensure that we incentivize evidence basis, safety,
continuity and comprehensive care. If you put those three things
together, it’s high-end
healthcare。创新的支付结构是为了确保激励医院和医生提供正确的、循证的医疗服务。嘴上说要做循证医学,要做全面、持续医疗,这是一回事。但是,如果你没有一个激励的支付结构,实际点说,那可能实现不了。An
innovative payment structure is to ensure hospitals and doctors are
incentivized to give the right care, evidence-based care. It’s one thing
to say we are going to do evidence-based medicine, we are going to do
comprehensive, continuous medicine, but if you don’t have a payment
structure that INCENTIVIZE that. Then it might not happen. Just to be

resemble a child to
you?李碧菁:你生孩子的时候,只有一个伙伴,就是丈夫,而你是孩子的母亲。但是,创办企业,则是整个团队,很多人都付出了心力。他们也是父母。Lipson:
When you birth a child, you only have one major partner, the husband,
while you are the mother of the child. But to birth an enterprise, it is
a whole team, a lot of people that put their heart into it. They were
also the

How does it feel seeing this child growing up healthy and
eventful?李碧菁:相当棒。感觉我们做了很多事。想想看我们影响了多少人的生活,上万名婴儿在这里健康出世,数千人的生命得以挽救。想想就觉得很棒。Lipson:
It’s quite amazing. It feels like we accomplished a lot. To think about
the individuals’ lives that we have impacted, tens of thousands baby
born healthy, thousands of people’s lives saved. It’s amazing to think
about.更令人鼓舞和满足的是,听到其他医疗同行,其他医院管理者、院长,其他医生,以及政府官员说,和睦家是值得我们学习的榜样。我们确实欣赏和睦家所做的创新和开创的先例。这更加让人骄傲。What
is even more encouraging and satisfying to me is to hear other people in
healthcare, other hospital administrators, presidents, other doctors,
and people from the government saying, United Family is a model we can
look up to. We really do look to the pilot United Family has created.
This makes me even more
proud.李碧菁简介:和睦家医疗总裁;美中互利首席执行官(CEO,Chindex)美国人,大学曾攻读中国历史,1979年来华工作。1981年,李碧菁在北京创办美中互利公司,从事医疗器械代理等工作。1994年,美中互利在纳斯达克上市。在华期间,李碧菁发现,中国医疗硬件持续改善,但“软件”仍有进步空间,因此下定决心开办医院。1997年,北京和睦家医院成立。上海和睦家医院和广州和睦家医院也分别于2005年和2008年成立。
